Medical Services

Compassionate Care. Cutting-Edge Diagnostics. Tailored Treatment.

KittenWhether your pet has a mystery illness, needs a routine checkup, or something just seems a little “off,” our medical team is here to help. From quick tests to complex diagnostics, we’ve got the tools, tech, and heart to get to the bottom of it—and fast.

Because we can perform many diagnostic procedures in-house, you’ll often get answers right away. That means we can start treatment sooner and give your pet the best chance at a speedy recovery. In more serious cases, your pet may need hospitalization or further testing, but don’t worry—we’ll walk you through every step of the process.

Here’s a peek at some of the medical magic we offer:

Digital Radiology (X-rays)

When your pet can’t tell us what’s wrong, X-rays help us take a closer look. We use digital X-rays to check bones, lungs, heart, and organs—whether it’s for an injury, illness, or just a routine screening.
 Faster results
»  Less radiation than traditional X-rays
»  Clear, detailed images for better diagnosis
Note: Some pets may need a little sedation to stay still for their glamour shots!

Parasite Prevention & Control

Fleas, ticks, mites, and heartworms—oh my! These pests are more than just annoying. They can cause serious health problems for your pet and even spread to other animals (and sometimes humans!).

At our hospital, we offer comprehensive parasite prevention to keep your pets protected and your home pest-free.

 What's Bugging Your Pet?

  • Fleas – Cause itching, allergies, and can transmit tapeworms.
  • Ticks – Can spread Lyme disease and other serious infections.
  • Mites – Cause ear infections and skin issues like mange.
  • Heartworms – Spread by mosquitoes, they live in the heart and lungs and can be fatal if left untreated.

We’ll help you choose the right prevention plan for your pet’s lifestyle, health needs, and environment. From monthly chewables to topical treatments, we’ve got safe and effective options for both cats and dogs.

Not sure what your pet needs?

We’re happy to walk you through it! Contact us to set up a parasite prevention plan that keeps your furry friend healthy, happy, and itch-free.

 Dermatology (Skin Care)

Itchy skin? Red patches? Weird lumps? We’ve seen it all. Skin problems in pets are super common—and often treatable. Whether it’s allergies, parasites, or something more complex, we’ll investigate with skin tests, bloodwork, or biopsies if needed.
If your pet is scratching, licking, or just looking a little less fluffy than usual, give us a call!

Cardiology (Heart Health)

Heart conditions can affect pets of any age, but catching them early makes all the difference. If your pet seems tired, coughs, breathes rapidly, or just isn’t their usual playful self, it could be heart-related.
We offer:
»  Physical exams
»  ECGs
»  X-rays
»  Ultrasounds
All to help us detect and manage heart disease before it becomes a bigger problem.

Tonometry (Eye Pressure Testing)

Glaucoma is no joke—it can cause permanent vision loss if not caught early. We use a tool called a tonometer to quickly and painlessly check the pressure in your pet’s eyes.
If your pet has red eyes, cloudiness, or seems to be pawing at their face, don’t wait. Glaucoma can develop fast—but early detection can save their sight.

Ultrasound (Ultrasonography)

Need a peek inside without surgery? Ultrasound lets us see your pet’s organs in action—great for diagnosing internal issues, detecting tumors or fluid, confirming pregnancies, and more.
» Noninvasive
» Painless
» No radiation
We usually just shave a small area of fur and apply gel—most pets don’t even mind!

Endocrinology (Hormonal Disorders)

Hormones play a big role in your pet’s health. From diabetes to thyroid disease, hormone imbalances can sneak up on pets and cause big problems if left untreated.
Some common signs to watch for:

  • Excessive thirst or urination
  • Weight changes
  • Skin issues or hair loss
  • Behavior or appetite changes
We run specialized blood tests to spot these issues early—because the sooner we start treatment, the better the outcome.

Medical Assessments (When Something Just Seems Off)

Not sure what’s wrong, but you know something’s not right? That’s where we come in. A full medical assessment includes:

  • Head-to-tail physical exam
  • Blood and urine testing
  • Heart, lungs, skin, and neurological checks
  • X-rays, ultrasound, or further diagnostics if needed

If you’re worried about your pet—even a little—give us a call. We’d rather check and find nothing than miss something important.
