Screenings

Why Does Your Pet Need Routine Health Screenings?

Let’s face it — our furry friends can’t tell us when something feels “off.” They can’t say, “Hey, my tummy hurts,” or “I’m just not feeling myself lately.” That’s why regular wellness screenings are so important!

Catch Problems Before They Become Serious

Pets are masters at hiding signs of illness — it’s a survival instinct! In the wild, showing weakness could mean becoming the weakest link. So by the time your dog or cat looks sick, their condition may already be advanced.
Routine health screenings every 6 to 12 months (yes, even for healthy pets!) help us catch sneaky, underlying issues before they become real problems. Early detection = longer, healthier lives.

What Does Screening Involve?

Depending on your pet’s age and stage of life, we recommend a variety of routine tests that can help us check for common health issues like organ disease, diabetes, infections, or hormonal imbalances — often before symptoms appear!

How Old is Your Pet in “Human” Years?

Use the age chart below to find out how old your pet really is — in human years! Just like people, pets have different health needs at different ages. Whether they’re a playful “kid” or a wise old soul, we tailor their screenings accordingly.

These are general guidelines and may vary depending on your pet’s species, breed, and gender. But rest assured: we're here to help you customize the best care plan.

Your Pet Deserves a Long, Happy Life

With just a few simple screenings a year, you can give your pet the gift of health — and peace of mind for you. After all, they’re not just pets… they’re family.
